Reporting Ethical Concerns

The National Professional Credentialing Association (NPCA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity. Filing an ethics complaint is an important responsibility when you believe a credentialed professional may have engaged in conduct that violates the NPCA Code of Ethics.

Reporting potential ethical violations helps protect individuals, families, organizations, and communities by ensuring that professionals remain accountable to the standards of their profession. It also helps preserve the credibility of the credentialing process and strengthens public trust in the professionals who hold NPCA credentials.

An ethics complaint is not intended to punish or retaliate against an individual. Rather, it is a process designed to ensure that concerns are reviewed fairly, thoroughly, and objectively while maintaining the integrity of the profession.

If you believe an ethical violation has occurred, we encourage you to submit a complaint and provide as much information and supporting documentation as possible. Every report is taken seriously and reviewed in accordance with NPCA policies and procedures.

By speaking up when ethical concerns arise, you help protect the public, strengthen professional accountability, and uphold the values of integrity, respect, and excellence that define the NPCA community.
